So I guess I never updated on Madison speech evaluation. We had last Friday (the 20th) we had to be in DT Greenville for 9:15.. and for some reason its SO hard for us to do!! Madison does NOT like to get up in the morning!! Anyways.. she didn't qualify.. the speech therapist doesn't think there is a delay in any area. I'm still going to keep my appointment at the Scottish rite (april 20th) just to see what they say. Then I promise... I'm done!!

So I brought Madison for a summer bob! The lady didn't do the greatest job.. but It'll grow and we can fix it! ;)

She tends to think this face will get her whatever she may want!! Although I have to admit it has gotten her out of trouble more than once, since we can't seem to keep a straight face when it almost hits the floor!! :) And yes we have gotten her hair cut! To be seen in a up coming post! ;)

Spring is in the air....for now!

We went downtown for Lacey's 20th birthday for Lunch. (Lacey,mom,Katie,Lisa,Mindy,Trinda,Cassie,Maddi & I) to Mary's cottage! I could just drink the dressing!! YUM!

Our "Sweetie Pie"

Seeeee why we have so many pictures? How could I resist? ;) Her newest thing is she is a sweetie pie, and her Grammy bought her a doll that she named Sweetie. We leave it at grammy's house so she has something to play with and she goes over and asks "Minnie where is my sweetie" Seems like shes been talking clearer since we got home from FL. We had a child find appointment last week, but it snowed!! :( Now its 80 go figure! Gotta love the south! So now we have it for the 20th. So still waiting....

Fun days!

We've been having fabulous weather the past few days even dipping into the 80's! We met Clara and kids at the park yesterday for lunch! We really enjoyed it, and I got to come home and Madison slept for 2.5 hours a very rare thing these days!! She did end up sick tho :( We had bible study here at our house last night. Karl really enjoyed it, even tho I felt like I didn't pay much attention.. to be honest! I guess I was to involved with Maddi & Erica! I hope to continue these bible studies and for myself and everyone else to enjoy them! Karl & I have joined a bible study Fire proof your marriage with Jon & Clara's church, we do that every Thursday night. That also is very enjoyable!

Today was my Dad's aunt Lila Stauffenker (No idea how to spell that correctly!) 88th birthday! So we went to Lake Cunningham after lunch. The weather was awesome, but Maddi didn't care to be out for long.. she did have a temp of 101 :( Poor baby! Once we got home gave her motrin and fed her supper shes been in such a good mood and playing by herself!

Interesting thing happend at walmart today when we went grocery shopping. Madison & I were looking down an isle while Karl was off getting a few more things. And this Lady just said hi to Maddi and smiled and said ohh she is beautiful I can see God shining through her eyes! I just smiled and kept walking. Then we stopped as we seen Karl coming toward us and the lady saw him put things into our cart and she comes on over and was like Ohh my I had no idea you guys were connected and she tells Karl she had been watching him pick things out for awhile in the store, and God was telling her to talk to him. And she saw Madison having no idea that that was his daughter and just knew she had the spirit of the Lord in her! And she was just telling Karl that God wanted her to tell him to just wait and see that things in our life are going to work out and things are going to be really good, all we have to do is believe! She said if you don't believe me go talk to my pastor at my church, and Karl was explaining that we do believe and we go to church.. before he could finish she was like Ohh I know you do, I saw it in your daughters eyes! Then she went on and on how we are going to need to start listening to Madison, cuz God's talking to her and shes going to be a leader and shes going to tell us things that we've never known! I thought at the very least it was interesting. I never know how to take people like that!! Karl was telling me to just take it at face value. What can it hurt!

On Monday night we had Cassie's Bridal shower! It was a ton of fun!

Florida Trip 2009

Madison & I went to FL with my mom. We drove down it wasn't so bad on the way down, although on the way back we couldn't seem to get home!! Madison was soo amazed to see our house from the car she kept saying "Minnie thats MY house, MY home!!!" Then she couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Karl again after almost a week! He gained a tail for a couple of days! It was nice!! We shared a room with my mom , Rona & Ava. Maddi and Ava became fast friends, and played to well together! It was so cute listening to the little conversations they would have!
