Life...
We've been BUSY BUSY.. once Madison & Karl got better and were back to themselves after having that horrible flu. My Brother in-law fell at work onto his elbow and broke (shattered) the bones in his arm. (on the 18th) He had to have extensive surgery. We spent our weekend in the hospital. Then the beginning of last week my family started coming into town, and we had wedding stuff.. tea party, spa, rehearsal dinner, rehearsal and the wedding which was Friday (24th) Plus on Monday (20th) Karl & I went for the parent interview at Scottish rites. Then my nephew's soon to be in laws put on a jack&Jill "sauna" shower on for him and his fiance. On Saturday (25th). Poor Madison didn't get time to sleep all week, so we skipped church and let her sleep in (her and her Dad) they slept till after 11! Then this Monday (27th) I brought Madison for her evaluation. Which I thought for the first time they actually did a real evaluation..it took 2 hours. The lady told me everything I've been trying to tell people. (She drops the sounds of letters on certain words, but not on others..she can say "Karl" clearly with the correct "K" sound but changes it when saying "Katie" she replaces it with a "D") They did a articulation test and said she knows all the sounds but changes them when other letters are added. Something they didn't know if it would just correct by itself or it wouldn't. Which now for the second time told me they think its her ears. They said its not a learning thing because they tested her and told me "You have one smart girl on your hands" So we are on the waiting list.. I believe there are 15 kids ahead of us.. she told me if we didn't get in by October contact Child find again. When I told her what they did and told me she said its not surprising since they are run by the state. She also suggested not waiting and going ahead and paying for the hearing screening. So that's the next thing I have to look into. I'm just glad I knew what I was talking about even though everyone things I'm crazy! I'd just hate for her to stay back not be cause she doesn't know, but because they don't understand that she knows. So the waiting begins... Now this week we are doing NOTHING! :)

Our Easter this year instead of in Church we were in the ER.. Fun I tell you! Madison had been throwing up everything since the morning before and had a temp of 104 she wasn't dehydrated so they gave her meds to not vomit and then meds to get the fever down! Poor girl is FINALLY better today ...believe me its been a miserable 6 days!

Palm Sunday
We had a cookout at our house for Palm Sunday/Dad's birthday. I made best ever cake (I'm gonna stick with that name :p) Madison was so happy to have a "happy birthday to you cake" even though at first she thought it was Lacey's birthday again! She then learned it was Grandpas. When you ask her where her Grandpa is her answer is.."In the sky, with the birds!" :) Yesterday Simone said Oh in heaven! She replies "Yes. heavens up there!"
I look awful...trying to take the photo myself doesn't work so good!

Easter Fun day Southside Park
Maddi always asks "My Mommy & Daddy buy me a bounce house?" so I thought she'd really enjoy this & she did! She loved playing all the games too! She went "fishing" and the lady tugged on the rope to put the prize on and she got so nervous that she really caught a fish she dropped the pole! Maybe you had to be there, but it was so funny!!
Date Night
Karl & I went out on a date a few saturday nights ago. Something that is rare these days! It was nice!
