Merry Christmas from our home to yours!

Since we didn't have family here this year. We had breakfast at home with my brother this morning then we headed downtown and ate brunch at the westin.  We opened gifts this morning, which I had to tell Karl that it was the first time in my life that i've ever waited till Christmas! :) It was all because of Madison she was so sure Santa came and brought her gifts.. but she also thinks hes going to keep coming and bring more and more! :) I guess she'll realize soon enough!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve I woke up early took the scooter out of the box put it together and wrapped the box so when she woke up.. she got to open it! She went straight on it and crashed into the dinner room table and didn't dare go back on it! lol It took us almost all day to show her that if you steer it you won't get hurt and she now won't get off of it. She thinks she needs to ride it form the room to the kitchen just to tell me something! :) She must be my child, hey?! Don't mind the bed head! We spent the day at the mall.. why? I'm not sure! :) It wasn't to bad though maybe because we just went to go not because we were in need of anything! We then got Chinese food as usual for Christmas eve, then went to church for the service. Which was really neat.. even though there was like all of 12 people there! We came home and at dusty millers (sp?) and let her and Karl open one gift before bed. New tooth brushes!! :) Hers was wrapped with a ballerina leotard.. shes always begs for this a target. I've never wanted to waste my money.. when I went in there and saw it on clearance for $4 even though its a few sizes too small.. i bought it anyway it works! :) She LOVES it!

Cooper Christmas

We had a Christmas party last sunday (20th) with my family. Brunch with a white elephant gift exchange for the adults and goodies for the kids. Since Derek's family was in NH for Christmas, Matt's inlaws are in town, Delan, Katie, Cassie & my mom all went to FL for Christmas & Lacey went to WA.

Madison & I took a quick trip to NH (2 weeks before Christmas) to see my new nephew Maddox. Even though I slacked and got zero photos of him! I barely got any at all! oops! :)

Update!

Hope everyone had a Blessed Thanksgiving!

We had it at Matt & Lisa's house this year.. with all of the southern Cooper family.

I got up at 3:30 AM to make it to walmart for some black friday sales and I got everything I went for so I was rather happy! Karl still doesn't think it was worth it, but hey he stayed in bed!

I am now 23 weeks along still doing good, and growing! He has become much more active in the past week or so. Once we starts moving he moves for a few hours straight, unless of course someone touches my belly... Then he goes into hiding! I counted and I have only about 8 more appointments left before this little one comes into the world. Once Christmas & New years pass I will be going every 2 weeks. Seems like time is just flying!!

Madison has been good...missing lots of school because the teachers kids keep coming down with the chicken pox! It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for her to get them, but I don't want to purposly expose her! She has been *Knock on wood* healthy I hope & pray we can stay that way through the winter! We've been loading up on vitamin D3 & C. Picture of our wonderful gingerbread house! I tell you they are harder than they look!!!

Karl's classes end on the 10th.. which we are SO excited to have almost a month off! I'm not sure who is more me or him?! :) Work hasn't slowed all that much which is such a blessing!! We pray it continues.. we'd rather avoid another rough winter!

Mindy, Lacey, Cassie & I started walking 2 days a week at the park.. I need to maintain my weight gain!! Its hard!!! With Madison I didn't really care and it showed!! I hope to keep up the walking at least 2 days a week till it gets down in the 20's.. since we don't really get many days like that it shouldn't be to bad!

Madison & I have to go to the Joslin clinic on Monday to get tested for type 1 diabetes. Since it has been running in the Ojala family for 4 generations they are doing a case study on it and would like everyone to get tested. They've been doing it with the family in NH for awhile now, and theres finally enough "southern Ojalas" to have it done. They are checking for an antibodies and can tell if you'd get in in the next 10 years. Kind of scary.. they were worried about it when Maddi was born, but I think that was because of her weight.. which would be type 2..but i'm not positive.



Our VERY rainy wednesday!! It rained so hard the roads were all flooded. Then today its all gone! Hardly any puddles to show for it, crazy!!
