Madison's dream!!

She met DORA! :) We waited forever for Dora to come!! She finally did and it was all worth it! Maddi was just grinning for ear to ear! She gave her a big hug and kept going back to to shake her hand or give her five!

Wow, its funny how days run into weeks... I use to have all the time in the world! :) haha!

Hudson is still a VERY good baby! *knock on wood* We went yesterday to get his photos taken by Monica! Can't wait to see how they turn out!

Lets see what we've been up to. Last Wednesday Hudson got to see the mall for the first time! :) Then on Sunday he got to go to the park! He'll be 3 weeks this friday.. Hes finally waking up alittle bit more now. Like an hour or two in the morning an hour in the afternoon and every other day he stays up 5-6 hours in the evening.. usually around 5-11 ish which is perfect then he wakes up to eat and promptly goes back to sleep! He has an appointment for the 27th for his one month. Crazy how time flies! I made it with Madison's doctor I think hes better than the doc we saw last time.

Well he did come out crying, but still had to visit the NICU for 5 hours. Although both Karl & I got to hold him before hand.. so that was nice. He had to much fluid in his lungs that was causing pressure and causing him to grunt.  He was head down and I was contracting since 2am that morning.. so I believe that was his gonna be his birthdate no matter what! :) During the C-section everyone in the room was talking about all his hair before we could see him.. he just like his big sister was hard to pull out. It was Madison's head and his legs.. doctor then guessed the weight when lifting him out and was only 1 oz off. Still amazes me that Maddi was 1 lb- 1 3/4 inches bigger than he was! We got to leave the hospital on Sunday a day early just like last time. I don't think I could have lasted another day there! Ahh! It took me a week but I feel some what "Normal" again! The pain in my face returned on Thursday, it lasted all day! Friday the pain was gone but it felt some what numb, and the numbness is wearing off now. I just wonder what it is?! Is it bellspalsey?? Who knows.. can't blame the pregnancy anymore! Hudson was discharged at 7lbs 15oz (Madison was a lb heavier at birth and they both lost 8oz afterwards!) he went for a check up on Wednesday and was 8lbs 3.5 oz they thought he looked GREAT! They said no need for him to come back till hes a month. On the other hand he has not been circumsized...yet. The pedi in the hospital didn't dare to do it, saying there wasn't much skin underneath to work with.. so the next pedi said the samething! No one wants to hurt him more than its going to already! So they are going to refer us to a urologists...

Madison has been pretty good with him so far. No jealousy really.. I guess she hasn't really had time.. so many people have been in and out and giving her SO much attention. :) The only thing I notice is shes been needing the special attention from her Daddy. When he leaves and comes home she has to hug him for 10 min and says "You came back!" but all in all its been good for the two of them! :) I asked her if she wanted us to bring just her out for lunch somewhere at first she says yes and asks if Grammy can watch baby (She calls him Baby) then later on tells me "No, can Baby just come cuz we might miss him!" Everytime she looks at him she says "Oh Mom hes sooo cute!"  and her newest thing is "Hes so cute, I think we'll keep him!" Good thing!! He has been SUCH a good baby.. I hope i'm not talking to soon, but seriously unless hes hungry he doesn't cry! He pretty much sleeps all day and even more at night! :) :) Today has been the first day that he hasn't slept all day and just sits next to me and looks around trying to take it all in! :) We surely have been blessed, and are forever grateful for our little man!
