Madison

Figures as soon I as I say she did something bad, she starts to be really good to make me feel bad! :) She sure is one of a kind! She now carries around 2 dolls.. She says one is her baby boy and the other his big sister! She makes sure to put them to sleep at night and when we move them in the night she freaks in the morning! She so excited now that I start packing the babys (our baby) bag for the hospital. I let her come and pick out plugs and bottles. She draws pictures all day long! She comes home from school with tons. She had drawn a picture and told me about it being a fish and a mermaid so when looking at it I pointed to something and asked if that was the fish and she was horrified that I thought the sun was a fish!! oops!! We most likely the reason is we were lazy stopped at Maddi when teaching her to write her name... and I guess we don't really get credit for that Ms. Martha did that! :) Well yesterday Ms. Barbara taught her to do Madison, only down fall is we confused her with not spelling her name with 2 d's but we put the 2 in Maddi.. why we did that i don't know! But we know have papers all over the house with Madison written all over!! Shes so proud of herself, and of course we are too! Shes also learning to buckle herself into her booster in the car on her own! Its going to be such a help when the baby comes!! Our little girl is sure growing up! We never know what shes going to come up with next! There is never a dull moment in our house anymore.. soon to be never a quiet one! Shes been learning all kinds of new songs, all the old CD's that she got sick of we started listening to again and she just loves it! Her new favorite is "This little light of mine" Yesterday when singing it with the CD on top of her lungs.. it says "Hide it under a bushel" then a pause she shouts YES! seconds before they shout NO! So she then says "Ohh yeah I forgot!" Still makes me laugh! Today she went on a kick that her Dad should bring her to school.. he had to run to work at the last second so he thought he'd take lunch and pick her up with me so he explained it to her, she was fine with it..until we went to pick her up and she was like" ummm Dad, you said YOU were going to pick me up NOT you and mom!" I guess I wasn't suppose to be there.. its easier for her to talk him into stopping for ice cream or candy when i'm not around! lol
